i didn't even click on the link to the post but i still saw way too much. my ideas are the following:
-something similar to the (overly enforced) mature tag.
-something where the OP can check off a box that will have the thumbnail image of their post show either a warning or something that symbolizes that there are images below that may set people off. my thought was a crying giraffe. come on, it'd get the point across.
i come here to find interesting, cute, and funny memes. i'm sure some will say i'm being a special snowflake but thinking of half a BILLION animals burning to death is something that is a bit beyond my level. and i'm level 120. no, i mean in world of warcraft but i think you get my point.
what else can we do?

usersub/newest first isn't the way to go, then. I only ever see the first 4-12 images in newest first and I see a lot of disturbing crap
