I decided to put about $15.50 in my 2 yr old's piggy bank. He doesn't understand quite yet, but it will help him later.

Savings rates are so low, there really isn't a point yet. And maybe its all OP can afford right now, the economy is still slow.

Right now he just finds coins and places them in the piggy bank. It's cute.

We're working on getting an account. We're teaching him to save at the moment, even without a bank account, which is what my parents did.
