I feed my two cats 1/4 can Sheba pate and 1/4 cup high protein dry mixed together twice daily and they're both fit and healthy.

Cut out treats, stop feeding it from your plate. Any diet works if you lower the calorific intake to less than calories burned.

Make sure she gets some exercise. Does she go outdoors? Take her for daily walks. Get a laser pointer and have her chase that every day.

No, indoor. Very small apartment which is terrible. I try and play with her.
