Good riddance? Do you really think he’s never getting in? That’s a laugh. This is a systemic problem not an issue of rather or not they think he cheated. I wasn’t aware that at least 1 voter had spoken out about this but 1 has. Looks like the NFL history of snubbing has caught up to it leading to a category of older veterans needing to be included in the process. The way they put it, 5 men each needed 40 votes in a room with a max of 150 votes. Voters were more concerned with the older players.

Jimmy Johnson, who is in the HOF, said everyone stole including him. He said they quit because they “weren’t very good at it.”
Bill will get in soon. There are a lot of older players that have been waiting a long time to get in and spots are limited. Probably next year for Bill.

Yeah, seems like the history of snubbing players has caught up to the HOF. If there’s such a backlog that Belichick can’t get in on the first ballot, something is wrong with the system.

I mean, those allegations were a big deal but they don’t overshadow his accomplishments. 8 Super Bowl rings is a BIGGER deal. All of the NFL knows about the allegations and NOBODY has come out in support of this snub. None of the voters that voted against him will ever admit it. It stinks all the way around.

But I think Bonds deserves to be in the HoF and so did Rose. Belichick deserves it also. The history of snubbing in the NFL HoF has caught up to it. Seems like the 1 voter that did speak out said he was more worried about the older players that waited decades to get in than someone on their first ballot. Players like Roger Craig, whom I feel has been snubbed for decades.
