If 2020 Were a Bad Haiku (Fixed, Still bad)

This is going to generate a lot of hate my way, I know it. I'm tired, because at this rate, America... We are going to freedom all we love into a early coffin. Am I saying the masks are comfortable? No. Am I saying that these protests are unjustified? No, never. Protests are how people get their voices heard.

What I am saying is the timing is wrong, not because of the weather, not because I don't want to see it, there is no-not-seeing it as I live it. I feel the worry because of my own skin, I feel as if I am being judged constantly. The timing, not the heart is wrong. This virus doesn't care if you are a saint or a sinner, or how many likes on your virtue signalling tweet you obtain. This virus doesn't care if you are white, black, young or old.

This Virus doesn't care about generations of suffering, it will make you suffer more. It will make your friends suffer, your family, if not now later. Yet we have people choosing to wave their freedom around like a shield as we BEG them not to break social distancing. We BEG people not to throw others to the fire flaunting their freedom to not be legally bound to wearing a mask and our fast food workers, our grocery store workers, people who sometimes have absolutely no choice but to work are thrown to the front-lines.

"But the Cops are Bad" is not the point. Cops could be the reincarnation collectively of Satan themselves, and you know what, Satan is laughing. This Virus doesn't care about your opinion and in fact if you are religious I bet you Satan would want you to Protest, to not wear a mask, to cough on people who are just doing their job.

By flaunting your freedom, without taking the responsibility any reasonable adult should do so without question. You are helping to perpetuate genocide. Genocide isn't just the Nazi's targeting the Jewish people as they once did. Genocide can refer to the killing of any group of people, and we as humanity are a group.

You can say "Liberal fear mongering" to continue to stick your head in the sand, but I am absolutely not liberal, I am A-Fucking political (Google Definition: Not interested or involved in politics). I don't care about your political leaning, YOU reading this are a person, I care about you, even if you in turn hate me for these words. I care about humanity, everyone from the time they take their first breath to the time they have given their last.

By choosing your Freedoms however, you are choosing to continue the chain of death that is hitching a ride on your own shoulders. You caught it but are fine? Good, be responsible. Someone you know and have been around recently caught it? Be responsible. Otherwise you are choosing to endanger families, friends, people who have never and would never have harmed a single soul as well as yourself.

I... am extremely lost, and honestly when I grew up I loved zombie movies, in part because of the absurdity of the characters and how a Zombie apocolypse would never, ever feasibly happen because in my mind humanity would come together, and eradicate it, take a responsible course of action.

"But Trump" is not an excuse, the only excuse reasonable is due to human greed and that is that you cannot pay your bills. Not your greed, others. People unwilling to pause bills, unwilling to keep peoples lights on unless they continue paying, which means working, which means some unfortunate people will be forced to work in close proximity to people that choose their Freedom over your Death.

This virus does NOT care about your virtue signalling tweet, This virus will NOT leave you alone because you believe you are a good person. This virus will NOT leave you alone because you still choose to go to church on Sunday. This virus does NOT care that you cannot handle the "Crushing" isolation. Because if you cannot deal with it, WE as a people will be crushed, ground down as the numbers increase.

Funny part about the numbers, each one of those is someones mother, father, brother, sister, friend, it is someone. 2.55 Million people infected (according to google.) That's 2.55 Million people fighting for their lives, and many more people watching helplessly as they do so. Someones mother laying there sick, as her children watch.

Ask yourself, if you could have any one of those people that ignited these protests if they want you to cause that helpless suffering on random people who have never harmed you or them.
