Of course it's a trauma response. Just like the Christian revival in the 50s was a trauma response to WWII and Cold War, resulting in "In God We Trust" and "One nation under God" was added to the pledge. If we focused on mental health resources and education reform in this country for a decade, things would start to improve for later generations.

I recall that Gandhi said be the change you want to see in the world and Viktor Frankl said man’s last freedom is that despite whatever is happening to him he can choose how he wishes to respond. Every generation has their crises to respond to and work through but I guarantee you; you can lead the life you wish to lead or help with a cause you care about and help to make a difference…

I’ve had making a difference down for 40years, but the hell perpetrated on children and adults I served during the last presidency was tough. Not crematoriums tough by any means, so thanks for the encouraging words.
