Not being able to walk sucks, but I do love a good cuppa
My leg packed in back in November, so I've been on crutches, meaning I've been off work getting SSP. I only just managed to pay my rent up until tenancy ran out, but then my boss terminated my employment due to the fact that I couldn't give him a date when I'd be back at work. I've had to move into my parent's guest house, but because I'm staying in one of the guest rooms I couldn't bring my cats, so they've gone to a really lovely family that has had lots of cats in the past, and they'll have a much bigger house with a garden.
But my dad wakes me up really early every morning before he goes to work to ask if I want a cup of tea. Not that I'm complaining.. He makes a good brew.

I don't know what "leg packed" means but do you qualify for disability?

"Packing it in" basically means "gave up" and doesn't really give any specific information beyond that.

It means stopped working. Not yet, because I don't have a date for my op, (they go three months back and nine months forward) so I will when

My hip is in the wrong place and it puts too much pressure on my knee. I've been on and off crutches for the last 10 years, but it's not 1/2

getting any better. In fact, it's getting a hell of a lot worse. It's painful and collapses when I put too much weight on it. 2/2

Yeah, I have to have my hip broken and reset in the right place. I find out more about dates on Wednesday.
