I don't own fishnets nor shiny clothing so the usual theme day content is off the table. Nor do I have any special life events to share. And oh it's Friday the 13th but I'm not a big fan of horror movies either.
I found out from the archives that one of the older theme days was Firearms Friday. I only have my great-grandpa's deactivated shotgun and I already showed that off during Doom's 30th anniversary. Also posing with real firearms is a bit passé in the current climate so instead have me goofing off with the NES Zapper back when I reacquired it after many many years.
I rarely make cake day posts anyway but this time I wanted to make one to thank y'all. I used to be a very reclusive person, even online, and rarely participated in anything outside closed communities. I initially only registered here to have somewhere to upload my images which I'd share in those communities, and only started participating here a few years ago. Posting and commenting on Imgur and the positive reception I've gotten has really helped me with my self-esteem and being more sociable in general.
Enough soppiness I guess. You guys (and presumably gals as well) seemed to like my chesticles so I guess that'll be a theme day I'll be contributing more often to in the future.

Yeah I guess I could've baked one for the occasion. But I honestly forgot the whole thing until I got the email. Plenty of hours still in the day though so I might still do it.

Yes. There's metal welded into the barrel and I'm pretty sure one of the triggers is broken as well. It's a purely decorative piece.

I’m sure your great grandfather’s gun makes a wonderful wall hanger. So nice to have a piece of his nostalgia.

Was a nice wall hanger anyway. The metal thing that attaches the shoulder strap to the barrels snapped a few weeks back. So now it has to sit in the corner until I get it fixed.
