Their rhetoric is based on acknowledging life is difficult, but selling "the illegals did it" as a 'solution' instead of actual fixes. If someone implements REAL solutions that ACTUALLY address those problems, it undermines all the far right rhetoric and shows that their proposed 'solutions' are a scam.
You can't make people with stable rents and full fridges afraid of immigrants stealing their homes.
