I always know when those guys wake up because they always come to check out the saws around 10am on the first warm day of spring. They love the smell of sawdust. Sawdust sticks to my beard. I'm allergic to bee stings, which carpenter bees don't do, but it's lead to a few episodes of a grown ass bearded man sprinting away from a harmless bug at top speed whilst shrieking like a toddler.

“Cleaner”. That bee “sweeps” like my daughter. She thinks it’s acceptable to just push it all to the edges of the kitchen and not into a pile and use the dustpan. So I handed her a shop vac and told her to go around the border

Last time I saw this posted, some idiot claimed there is no way a bee would create this much downdraft.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's some impressive displacement.

That bug works out

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That dust has to be super fine . Probably should wear a mask in there

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

And having any kind of dust collection

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

True, but finding a respirator small enough for the bee to wear might be difficult

2 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

Haven't you heard of the Bee-95?

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

From a previous repost, apparently someone is pointing a pressurized airngun at the bee hence the amazing dust diaplacement

According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way that a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyways. Because bees don't care what humans think is impossible.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

not to mention the laws of aviation aren't really laws. "oh they're laws are they? Solve the Navier-Stokes equations then"

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This is not true at all.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

It's a famous quote.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Yes, but there are also way too many people who believe it
