I drove 3700km away from where my family settled in the west and I'm trying to get back to the land we should have never left, having taken from those who never wanted us to destroy their beautiful land with our disdain for the abundance of life
There's a difference between "fuck you money" and I worked hard to save money for the last 5 years and chose not to have children so I can enjoy my life money.
working hard or hardly working doesn't change the fuck of the money, it's the freedom of of the fuck that matters, and fucking off to Japan def has some fuck to it
No. You are confusing »normal amount of money someone doing a full time job for 5 years should have, especially when they do not have any kids« with »fuck of money«. Probably because they pay you unfair as fuck while your landlord charges you a fortune for a dog shed and as a result you are just so used to having barely enough to get by, that you come to the above conclusion. Do not shoot the messenger but the assholes in power, that make this kind of misery the norm.
Again, you have zero ideas what’s allowed him to do that. Could be there for a job interview. Could’ve sacrificed and saved for years in order to honor his dad. Grandparents could’ve paid for the trip.
You are correct that we should not assume, but the image literally says he flew to japan to take this photo. Not that he was there and decided to go find it, he went for this specific reason. Now is that the truth, or is the image worded poorly, I do not know, but with the information we do have, he does have fuckyou money.
It's funny you insist we don't know anything yet keep trying to imagine justifications for it. Correct - we don't know, and neither do you. However, it's a pretty safe bet that you do not take a trip to another country *for any reason* if you have no confidence in your financial situation, including for a job because you'd be a fool to make that trip if there was any real doubt that you'd actually get said job. It's a safe assumption that this guy is at least doing alright for himself.
If you paid 10 grand to fly to Japan and be there for 2 weeks, then you do not know how to manage your money. We (two individuals) were there last year for a whopping 3 weeks. (Yes, the plane tickets would not justify going there for just a lousy week.) And nope, 6 K for 2 people is not a fortune, especially when it's the very first real vacation in almost 40 years. It's simply a well deserved vacation. If you cannot afford that in a similar situation I assume you live in shit-hole-central (US).
Dude, a lot of people save up to go on exactly this kind of holiday. Are they better off than someone who's struggling pay cheque to pay cheque? Yes. But calling it fuck you money is just wrong. Bono paying to have his favorite hat flown on his private jet to him is fuck you money.

Did he find it?

You shouldn’t assume as you have no idea the circumstances that allowed him to do that

If you travel to Japan to take a random picture the circustances can be properly described as "fuckyou money" without having to know any specifics.
Smidge204
Even if not "fuckyou money" you certainly aren't doing this if you have any concerns about taking time off work or paying our bills on time.

Yeah, its not fuck you money just cause you can spend 2000+ dollars on JUST the plane ticket!
EaNasirsExcellentHighGradeCopper
Not to mention the hotel stays, food, travel expenses, and miscellany other costs, which will at least double that cost, if not more. God,
EaNasirsExcellentHighGradeCopper
