Huh. From what I can tell the iOS version keeps sending massive amounts of dns requests. Pihole was locking me out when it was set to 1000/min so i bumped it up to 10k/min and still got locked out. I’m the only user on that pihole and it reported over 700k requests in the 10-ish minutes i was watching it. Doesnt seem to happen all the time

Yeah, but not all shit code is slow. 1.2GB of fucking ram, did they embed the entire Chrome codebase or something?

@OP We recently resolved an issue that was to blame for this, would you mind sharing what version you're using here? It may also be that you need to clear this once manually after updating. If this is still occurring from there, I'm happy to work with the devs to course correct!

Is there not a public bug tracker for the apps? This isn't the 90s šŸ˜‹

This is memory, not storage. Just stopping the app should clear it šŸ™‚ I'm on 7.5.0.0.

Every reply ive seen from these ppl is "oh yeah we fixed that, you must be stupid"

Definitely not my intention. My understanding is that this was something we addressed, and if that isn't the case, it's my job to bring it back to the team to re-evaluate. I'll be doing that tomorrow to see if there are optimizations we're not making that we could be!

Oh, and the "rate this app" that pops up so often? If you say you want to leave feedback, it opens the bloody share dialog without any indication whatsoever of what it wants, defaults to telegram (on my device), which then says it has no clue what it should do with the passed data.

We're actively reworking the rate prompt, I'm not sure why it's appearing so often for you but I apologize for that hassle in the meantime

The problem isn't the popping up, it's the feedback mechanism... What is it even supposed to do?
