HelloLetsGo
#6 I told my kids this was Jaws before starting the movie
thereitis101
There was a version of that first one in Lovecraft Country if I recall.
astromoondoggie
#5: they’re either really bad at maps or kinda bad at Venn diagrams
iPez
heard the dinosaur vomit is not likely
TheSecondPiewackit
#1 that's actually pretty close to their spelling of "English".
LrrrRulerofThePlanetOmicronPerseiVIII
Was America named America in the 1400s? I thought Columbus died not even knowing he hadn’t hit India

My Lord, we had forgot the fart

#5 The text reads "the whole world in a clover, which is the coat of arms of the city of Hannover, my dear fatherland".

#12 having received emails offering promotions for good ratings... yes I will totally give more importance to negatives reviews.
redstaterefugee
Especially if there are multiple recent negative reviews.
TheBoredSuburbian
Issues in negative reviews tend to also just be user error. Best to go off 3 star reviews. They give the most info and are rarely bought off
Jabokoe
Vendors hire people to have such reviews removed though, there are people that specialise in the review rules for appeals ...
Jabokoe
So if there are two negative reviews out of thousands left it is more significant they couldn't be flagged for removal
Californiajackson
I try to balance it against the assumption that people will vent anger by giving a bad review. If they're happy, they just get on with life.
LrrrRulerofThePlanetOmicronPerseiVIII
A lot of the time you can judge something well by how stupid the 1-stars are. Stupid? Buy. Valid concerns? Maybe rethink purchasing
ColleenMarie
I bought this but I didn't read the description and it's too big for my shelf. 1 star
LrrrRulerofThePlanetOmicronPerseiVIII
Haha, exactly!

#15 I, too, blame Tim for every theatre-fart I create.

#2 Some animals can't vomit.
kalaxar
#11 fantastic!
Skizzlesnap
#2 Always gets me. It says “assuming it’s from 45ft” which was almost certainly not a thing. Every animal leans forward while throwing up.
MithridateEupator
I stand straight upward and throw my head back so it's like a fountain
Pacaruru
I don't know if you ever threw up before but you don't always get the luxury of adv. warning assuming the position is nice but not required
Skizzlesnap
Animals aren’t trying to not miss the toilet.
Pacaruru
Yeah still just saying you don't always get the time to get into yakking position it sneaks up on you sometimes
afgncap
You still usually at least manage to point your head down. The only time it sneaks up on you is when you are drunk.
hollowedskin
Nah if you have a hiatial hernia or a bunch of other issues it's zero second warning puke. You don't even get nausea
ChalkCoatedDonut
I tried touching grass, a dog shat on it, didn't like.
EmanNiemThcin
#5 That's a german map, I can tell because our language changed surprisingly little which makes us the perfect timetravelers.
EmanNiemThcin
Found it, it's a conscious artistic choice: https://digital.library.cornell.edu/catalog/ss:3293713

#4 in birds, that's just sitting. They don't have another posture, that's how they sit. Legs are tucked under by default
TheHillsHaveNostrils
#5 Realistic maps weren't really a thing in medieval European civilisation. Simplified, mappamundi and other symbolic maps were.
DrZangariSlifkin
I mean it’s not terribly far off. It gets the idea across, you couldn’t find your way around with it, but for a world map it would do.
AskThisGuy
#2 just like most creatures, it would instinctively lower its head if it was vomiting.
theskepticinme
Also, if they’re going so far as to do calculations, they should consider removing bones from the stomach contents of a brachiosaurus
FiendishDoctorWuTangClan
So he headbutt the small dinosaur the impact left the crater and then he threw up in the hole. Got it
Devetta
I also wonder if they were even able to vomit. Rabbits, horses and some rodents (squirrels, rats, etc) can't. Giraffes technically can -
Devetta
- but because they're ruminants it's most likely to start in the 4th stomach and very rare to come out of the mouth.
AskThisGuy
Great point.
astromoondoggie
TIL giraffes vomit out their eyes
laughoutloud74
I was wonder the same thing in a much less educated manner.
