I have the fun red head gene that makes me very resistant to anesthesia. I absolutely hate having to have anything medically done. Most of the time I never get numb and just have to tell them to do the procedure or we will be here all day. By the time I get the 3rd round of numbing injected I have already metabolized the first shot.

DragonCon 2009, I'm walking through one of the many crowded skybridges between hotels and Felicia Day plus her 2-3 person entourage/handlers literally almost bump into me - we each back off a step, she looks me up and down in my kilt, points and says "NICE" and keeps going. That's it, that's my moment. I was too stunned to even say HI or THANKS or like...ANYTHING. So yeah.

My father was a redhead. Im not but any painkillers last 5% of the time on me. My dentist uses something else then the normal injection and its supposed to last 4 hours. 10 mins. tops.
