Mormonism was a cult scam invented by a New York huckster who took a bunch of ignorant dirt-farmers and country bumpkins for a ride halfway across the country, and along the way (he died) his followers decided taking multiple child-brides was the way to go, and while only some fringe adherents still do THAT, the church is sick with sexualizing the girls.
I was raised in that cult, and managed to escape. 'Goofy' doesn't capture what is wrong with Mormons.
