Unfortunately, it seems like a lot of the left shifted focus to just being anti-AI, which I don't think will actually work. UBI will be a tough sell, but if AI really is going to be a massive job killer, it's going to need to happen

I genuinely believe that if AI leads to widespread job displacement, and eventually it probably will, then a UBI should be implemented. Also believe that right-wingers will fight against it tooth and nail, leaving hundreds of thousands destitute and with zero recourse. So yeah, I'm anti-AI. I think UBI will happen...long after it should. A lot of people are going to have to lose their jobs first. On the other point, the existence of AI art doesn't means humans are banned from making art of their own. If people don't have to work for a living, they might do a lot of amazing things with their free time
