I’ll settle for another season of Disenchantment.

No. They had THREE great endings. Unlike other shows that get NONE.

I'm happy to let it go, it had its time. Really enjoying Disenchantment.
You know that the planet express time machine makes an appearance in disenchantment? ;)

As much as the thought of me makes me happy, how many "final episodes" does one show need? And that last one was perfect. Hate to spoil it.

well thank goodness it's not coming back, it lasted as long as it needed to and it had a perfect ending.

Why would you make a robot orphan?
Legomaniac91
Because Mom is a psychopath and loves to see her creations suffer.
The orphan crushing machine needs to crush something.
PicassoCT
To aumtomate the suffering
Phlynch
You wouldn't. You would make a small robot, possibly for cleaning tight spaces such as air vents, and then that robot would later be 1/2
orphaned by the owner of the robot dying or discarding them.

Eh I'm not upset. The show had a proper run. The last couple of seasons had some gems, but it was clear they lost a little of the magic.
pincheguy
Do you think it ended, because Matt Groening somehow got stuck in a time warp?
I've literally seen it probably a dozen times all the way through, too. I'm content with the way it ended and I don't need more.
AtNifty
I think moving off Fox actually did it some harm. Didn’t need to do the tongue-in-cheek anymore to get around censors, and it lost something
HelloToe
A much more extreme version of that was that 'adult' version of Ren and Stimpy.
Still not sure who that was for. Such a waste of time that was lol
It was 'for' John K, and that's about it. Masturbation on celluloid.

I actually felt they lost a bit of magic in Season 6 and gained most of it back for Season 7 - hence, I'm content with Futurama's run.
CCPustejovsky
Should try to give Season 7 a chance, then. I'm a hardcore Simpsons fan so I'm skeptical of the longevity of Groening's projects.
Trust me - imagine if, instead of pressing forward after the first non-Golden Age season, the Simpsons made another Golden season?
Season 7 of Futurama is like that - it's damn-well worth it, and ends just about perfectly (even if it DOES leave room for a comeback).
You're selling me on it, friend. I'll add it to the list (behind Simpsons Golden Age and Jojo with the wife [she's seen neither]).
