I babysit a 9 year old.

He wanted me to "show these to computer" like I show other pictures

He recently was adopted into the United States from Mexico. He speaks broken English. While his dad has been away on work and away at Mexico trying to adopt his other brother, I have been house sitting and babysitting this awesome kid.

He absolutely loves pokemon. He watches the show when it comes on, draws the characters, and reads the books. I recently got him a game and he's absolutely been attached to it since.

For him pokemon has been a good therapy tool to deal with the stress and changes of moving to another country.

He didn't have a lot of friends at school at first but through the love of enjoying pokemon he made his first friends a few weeks ago.

Now he enjoys going over to hang out with them, learning more about the game and show, and is a lot happier.

I had a similar experience when I was a child because of pokemon. I moved here from Ukraine and had no friends for a while but because I began to watch pokemon, I met some people who did as well. So, I was really happy to see this show help someone who was shy and scared in a new county adapt as well.

I was really happy to see this show help someone who was shy and scared in a new county just like it helped me.

I hope you guys enjoyed seeing these pictures/the story. And that you guys have a great day.

Tell him, the computer liked his drawings ^_^

Please nurture these talents, he could be solid at art when he is older. Even if he doesn't pursue a life in it the talent is very useful.
