In the UK we don't get charged, unless we choose to go private, but even on the NHS you get charged for TV and phone use, as far as I know

I had to fire 5 people, so the rest of the my workers could keep receiving free health insurance (that I pay for) for themselves and fam.

Not sure what employers have to do with this...we pay our own taxes and in Australia u get medical levy on tax return.
