PSA: if you see standing water, don't try wading it. It's not worth it.
The DC area got slammed with several inches of rain in just a couple of hours (highest estimates are 5.1 inches). Several roads are closed, some are flooded (like the above). Don't take your chances, if you see standing or running water, stop (or turn around if safe to do so). Flash Flood Warning in effect until 1:45pm EST here.
