I make completely edible, gelatin flower cakes! This is one (fat muffin sized) single flower "cupcake" cross section. People usually hesitate to cut it because they turn out so pretty. I have been practicing and taking them to work for coworkers to eat and give critiques. I make all my cakes from scratch. So I've been working on consistency and flavor a lot. This particular one is pinapple (clear gelatin) and coconut cream (all the colored gelatin). *the weird marbled-ish bottom is because I just throw all the colors I'm using on the bottom so there's even fruity and creme ratio.

This is my most recent 13x11 I think. An employee of mine did her wedding diy so I volunteered a gelatin cake for her wedding reception. It was heavy and took me 2-3 hours of making flowers. It was wild strawberry and vanilla bean. I tried matching it to her bouquet. The whole process takes 2-3 days because of setting.

This one I did last year for my mom's Christmas party. It is half a sphere and I tried to make ponsettias and a rose. The middle was filled with a malibu rum coconut creme and pinapple chunks and the clear is pinapple. She likes Pina coladas. Yes they come in alcoholic.

Another cross section. I make the cupcakes to practice and give them away.

Another practice cake for the crew.

This is what it looks like without the back colored gelatin

And here it is with the back colored gelatin

Practicing changing colors. I still have a lot of flower studying to do to get other types. I'm also thinking about trying to do animals next but I'm building my tool and skill set. Ask any questions. Send pups

I'll add pics with the crew eating it . People seriously don't want to eat it because they are so unique I'm lucky to have learned this.

I'm not entirely convinced you didn't just pour gelatin over some actual flowers. Great job, 5/7!
