I shall forever keep your favorite within a well-lit shadow box inside my study. I'll treasure it, and look upon it fondly each & every day.

As a Torontonian, his face is like that because of the Nuclear Power Plant down the shore

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I must know which part of the lake.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well, I believe the photographer is based in Toronto, so most likely, this somewhere along the northwest coast!

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Gracias.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

that is also an accurate portrayal of touching water in the Great Lakes.

13 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Having swam in, drank, and eaten from (FEESHIES!) that water, I've yet to turn into a starfish. It was my life's dream. :'(

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

As someone who lives 30 feet from Lake Ontario, never swimming in it again once I discovered it apparently has sea lampreys

13 years ago | Likes 66 Dislikes 0

I'll still jump in come harborfest. I don't afraid of lil kraken. c:

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I'm in the Hamilton area and it's just plain filthy. Had no idea that it had 'sea lampreys' in it.. Glad to know of it now though!

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

also the male fish are laying eggs. its all chemicals

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together...

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I live right on the lake too and I had no idea... never going near it again.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Wow, you're right: http://www.invadingspecies.com/invaders/fish/sea-lamprey/ And I thought anthropomorphized starfish were bad enough!

13 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

That is a whole lot of nopes from me.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Also, also they're really just miniature Krakens in training.

13 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I'm just gonna throw this out there... Toronto lakeshore condo towers? If so I can see your house right now hehehe

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Kingston

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Waving from across the shore.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Damn! With the huge number of people living down there, I figured my chance of being right was 50/50 :)

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Didn't know what it was, googled it... found out there are some in Lake Erie, where I swim and boat.... thanks :(

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Lampreys etal-Lake Erie's always got something up...this happened last fall http://ckdp.ca/2012/09/04/bodies-litter-shores-of-lake-erie/

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

BARFFF, I hate fish and dead ones even more. I was at a beach near Toledo last summer... dead fish everywhere :(

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I almost downvoted your comment bc it was so gross but then I remembered its not your fault there are dead fish.. at least I dont think o__o

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It was a naturally occurring temperature inversion that brought an oxygen-depleted layer of water from the bottom of the lake that did it.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

best one yet

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I miss Lake Ontario! +1 for memories of the lake I grew up near :)

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Patrick just realized this as well.

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

ARE YOU FROM THE LAKE ONTARIO AREA? I attend SUNY Oswego!

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

SAME!

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes patrick, lake ontario is indeed cold.

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

This is PERFECT. I LOVE YOU OP.

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I went swimming in the lake freshmen year and felt something touch my foot. The next day there was a giant dead toothed fish. Never again!

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Better than the year a corpse washed up.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I'm so glad this is a thing

13 years ago | Likes 1365 Dislikes 5

Don't remember posting this?

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've never made a gif but I imagine its not easy. I especially imagine see through effects being difficult. Thanks for pointing it out!

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Wow, didn't notice that!

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ha, thanks! I was tempted to work on having the water level slip up & down against him, but I instead chose to have a life this evening :-P

Hmm, I'm trying to post the link, but I had done a Google Image search for “Patrick star png” and found a deviantART member who had it.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Too bad it's so polluted - someone who lives like 10 min from lake Ontario.

13 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 1

Is that why you drink diet water?

13 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Diet water is my favourite :P

13 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Erie used to be very bad also - someone who lives like 30 min from lake Erie. It's a lot better now though so much so that you can swim :D

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Lucky :C

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's unfortunate. I'll be moving to Toronto, and I was looking forward to enjoying the water without need of a Hazmat suit.

13 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Do not swim in it. Trust me, Stelco has had its way with the water and now fishers are finding horribly deformed fish.

13 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

OMG LIKE THE THREE EYED FISH IN THE SIMPSONS?!
