A judge laid out some actual definitions regarding what might constitute "exceptions for the life and health of the mother," and he is appealing it. He wants the law to be vague, and the only reasoning for this I can come up with is he wants to kill people, but, you know, legally.

The State Fair of Texas is owned and operated by a private non-profit entity, so they can absolutely ban guns with the exception of law enforcement if they so choose. Paxton can piss up a rope.
