The device didn't turn on. On inspection the PSU didn't come up, no voltages out. Replacing the capacitor that is now marked with some green writing, Vcc, got replaced, which allowed the psu to turn on.
The capacitor was a 100µF 25V and got replaced with a slightly larger 100µF 63V one.

The original measured only 33µF anymore with 140Ω ESR & 30% Vloss.
There it is, the only thing it shows when powered up is one tiny led.

It's how I saved my MFP a couple of years back. $8 in caps instead of $150 for a replacement PS.

How did you open the case? I tried prying open the back piece, but am afraid I will break it,
