I know its never good to wish harm on others. But I do have to ask...how does one grow to tolerate assholes like the pro lifers? I had tolerance in my 20's, I feel I have less and less now in my 30's. There's nothing more I want to do when I hear the dangerous and braindead smenatics they yell, than to smash their heads against the curb repeatedly. WHO! You have essentially no way of knowing if your baby is viable or not for TWENTY. WEEKS. Other than some squishy ultrasounds and a heartbeat, you have no real information on their health and if they are developing correctly. Because they are so small until that time.
No state should forbid it under 20 weeks.

But women do talk about this with each other, and always have. In private. Every woman I am close to who has had a child has also had at least one miscarriage that they are aware of. Those "late periods" are often merciful spontaneous abortions that otherwise would result in the situation described in this post.

I’m glad other people are finally speaking out about how awful it is to get an abortion because Idk what delusion “pro-lifers” are under but no woman makes that decision without struggling immensely and suffering severe inner turmoil. As a dude, I couldn't even read past half of that story. I couldn't imagine having something like that happen. To become so attached only to hear how hopeless the situation was. Having to make that kind of choice would be devastating. And then, to add insult to injury, having a bunch of pro-lifers shun and judge you for making that critical choice. It's agonizing even to read.

Abortive care and the establishment of Roe v Wade as legal doctrine was praised even by conservative groups. It is only an issue today as politicians needed a new hook and with the complexity of the topic misconceptions about it were easily spread. This tactic is also the reason for the attacks on the trans community.
I really wish that people would seek understanding before accusation.

Those propaganda victims could spend 5 minutes researching and see that banning abortions do NOT reduce abortion rights. Right wing politics do NOT reduce abortion rates. Universal healthcare, federal 1 year maternity leave, childcare assistance, and most importantly comprehensive sex ed and free access to contraceptives all DO decrease abortion rates. If a person is pro life, but not fighting for those, their opinion is worthless.

There are also people who just stop thinking once they have enough of an answer. If they gave any situation just 5 more minutes of solid thought they'd get to the answer the rest of us did, but they don't.
