Hi imgurians !

I have a strange ritual with friends, and I'd like to know if we are the only one on earth doing this.

My friends are 4 hours away from me, so we don't meet often, but when we do, we play this game.

Yes, this basic ugly old game has been released in march 1997 for us. We still play this old shit, and it keeps up having fun, laughing, swearing, and drinking for hours.
But we play only on the track "Periodic park" (a tank-that-can-shoot track), and with high jump cheat code. We are usually 5 or 6 players.

We established a simple rule : we play until someone reaches 250 points. As you may know (or not), once a round is over, the winner gets 30 points, the second 20, the third 10, and others cries with 0 points. It can takes some time to reach 250. Like 2 hours if scores are kept close to each others.

We are very good at shooting and dodging continuously, shooting at objects to make the bounce we want, dodging others' bouncing shoots, high jumping for a crazy boost (not always in the wanted direction though), high jumping to dodge an obstacle (watch out for shots fired to make you dash-die), putting mines by one player after another (beware of the incoming landmine, chain poof incoming), chasing with the hammer (not me not me not me not me no *SBAM* yousonava !), and so on... We often wonder what would be our chance if a world competition on this existed. We concluded it wouldn't be as fun anyway (and we kinda don't care).

So, here is the question : is anyone still playing this game ? On this track ? With high jump code ?

If this posts has enough interest, I'll try to film a minute or two in our next session (end of june). I don't have good material, so don't expect too much.

P.S. : I'm not native english speaker, please forgive me if I made mistakes.

Appendix :

cheat code for unlocking all tracks : "gimmeall" on a char's name to unlock all tracks. When validating this name, you will hear a sound and will be prompted to enter the name again.

cheat code for high jump : during a round, pause, then : [square] → → ↓↑↓←↓↓. A sound will be heard confirming the code was enabled. You can disable it the same way.
