I just don't get it. I thought this was supposed to be a landslide, a no-brainer.

Despite the final outcome, the harsh reality here is that an alarming number of people in this country still chose hate over love, fear over hope, and division over unity. It hurts me and sickens me to my core. Joe is such a genuine nice guy, and Kamala a respectful, intelligent powerhouse. It feels like some sort of sick torture to have to watch this unfolding like it has so far.

I know the result of the election might not be official for a few days, but it still makes me want to cry when I think about all the bad things in this country, and having to accept that there might not be as many positive changes coming in the months ahead as I'd hoped.

election_2020

They just announced Biden for Maine. We did our part. Our whole 4 stupid votes part. But it's a thing and I'm happy for it.

US Imgur is all talk no vote

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Maybe if you start listening to eachother instead of namecalling. As a dane my take on this is that a lot of dems think they are better but

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Are acting like the ones they think they are better than. USA are in a sad state.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

tbh it's a shame that, out of 328 mio, it came down to a 74 and a 77 yo. I mean, come on: if Biden wins, he'll be 81 if he'll last that long

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Ya it's kind of "a vote for Biden is a vote for Harris." I'm female but wished he'd chosen a "sure thing" male VP. Seems it didn't matter.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Some of her "anti-white" and "In a Harris administration" comments shot her in the foot.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Chill. For whatever reason big cities in a lot of states haven’t turned in counts yet

5 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 4

What's wrong with Kentucky? Really?? McTurtle again???? Plain stupidity or what is the reason?

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

that is because you believed the narrative of the main stream media

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Watching this from Germany, I am shocked. After all the affairs, lies, corruption, CoVid deaths, golf playing... He still could win....???

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

The issue is that everybody thinks its supposed to be a landslide. But the people who support Biden are also the ones less likely to vote.

5 years ago | Likes 75 Dislikes 13

Or not to be deceased

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 9

I mean there is still record turnout it seems. With votes still being counted there were 4.2 million more that voted this year

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

There is a very good reason they have been trying so hard to suppress voting. Its because they were scared more would turn up than normal.

5 years ago | Likes 49 Dislikes 1

More did turn up than normal. But millions more GOP voters turned up than normal too, which is highly unusual

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Why?

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Because they are typically younger and less politically active/aware. Also, from my experience they make way more excuses than trump support

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It doesn't help that many don't really like him, just just hate trump. So they want Biden to win, but don't care enough to do anything.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

no fact basis for this comment.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

From personal experience its true. I see hundreds of people a month in their own homes. All the ones with trump signs had I voted stickers

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Most of the ones with biden signs either told me they were going to do it later, or had another reason or excuse.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This could easily just be my area, but its been pretty consistent yesterday and today.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The USA a country the world looked up to. Now we see the pile of shit it really is. How is this a close race??

5 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 6

The last time the US was looked up to was in the 90s.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The fact that my own country has doubled down on the hate and idiocy just kills me inside. Who are all these people? How are there so many?

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

I suggest you start becoming a fetus really fast if you want to keep your rights and freedom.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

At 54, I can't believe this is what my America has become. I'm speechless.

5 years ago | Likes 526 Dislikes 27

The dream is dead

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

sad truth is that it's always been this way. Trump just brought it all to the surface.

5 years ago | Likes 89 Dislikes 6

The worst thing is this is how we always were. Only difference is there wasn't a central figure who encouraged them to come into the light

5 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 2

I grieve for you guys! I'm about that age too from Aus, felt this way when our conservative party won last year. But stay hopeful!

5 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 2

Omg 2019 Fed Leccy wrecked me. ACT, NT and QLD elections since have been promising though. Downfall of Gladys also good.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

im sorry to say, but it was never yours. it was just easier to believe that before, now it is easier to see the despicable reality.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Socialism will NEVER FLY in America. Biden voted to keep segregation.... I can't beleive it was this close jesus

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 79

what are you talking about segregation?

5 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

What? Do you mean like, public education n healthcare n reasonable wages and fair retirement funds n stuff?

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

If you pay taxes you're taking part in socialism. Why are dumb Americans the only people who don't realise this?

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

you have no clue what socialism is

5 years ago | Likes 46 Dislikes 3

Take the L

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 24

Sociaism?

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Yep. We don’t want none of that shit here.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 50

We'll just take a heavy-handed dictatorship instead, tyvm.

5 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 2

Take the L

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 35

Why do you keep saying that? What does it mean?

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So afraid of the "socialism" boogeyman that you're becoming like China. Amazing. You played yourself.

5 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 2

Take the L

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 35

Do you want it back?

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Has become? Liberals are called progressive for a reason. They want to change our country. The country has spoken, we like the way we are!

5 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 74

I don't know why your getting down votes.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 32

Dumb, ignorant, racist and violent.

5 years ago | Likes 47 Dislikes 4

We like living in a shithole. Great.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

America consists of many moronic individuals. That is what I’m learning.

5 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 8

Only 300 Million of us are complete morons. The others are all right.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

If you were expecting a landslide, you haven’t been paying attention.

5 years ago | Likes 50 Dislikes 8

hope springs eternal

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah this was expected. Everyone knew that it was going to be close

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Not the ones only listening to CNN and reading imgur/reddit

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Unfortunately as a Non American we didn't expect anything else, I wish we did, but as a country we didn't expect much from you guys

5 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 3

they re done. America threw away their international influence for foreign bought fascism and they ve done so gleefully. China & Russia won

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I don’t blame you.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I seriously mean it when I say don't take it personally, I know reasoned, intelligent people from US, but as a group - OUCH

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Bruh my heart sunk when I saw Florida

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Sadly expected. He won here in 2016 by 129k votes, but I think FL is traditionally red. I voted for Biden in person. Sorry, guys. :-(

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

How is this not a landslide? I’m sad and embarrassed for my country.

5 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 7

You were probably too busy frequenting the likes of the imgur and Twitter echo chambers.

5 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 8

Exactly this. People don't want to hear what they disagree with. They attack it and label it offensive, and then exclude it.

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 6

Do not forget that Trump said he was openly going to cheat, soooo..

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 3

I'm in a a sincere stupor that people still don't think about preference falsification.

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

... ?

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think its more about who bothers to participate in a poll these days.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Biden isn't winning, unfortunately.

5 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 5

Maybe you should change where you get your info from. No logical person has said it's going to be a landslide either way.

5 years ago | Likes 39 Dislikes 10

no one said landslide, but most of the BGs were polling Biden up 6-8pts. That wasn't from MSNBC that was from 538 which is a poll agregator

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It is difficult to understand how people look at the last 4 years and go: “yes, another 4 years of that, please!”. At least for non-American

5 years ago | Likes 44 Dislikes 3

As an american, I understand it, but I fucking hate it with every fucking fiber of my being.

5 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

As a non American i see no possible reason any of them would vote for Biden. Opinions are funny like that innit?

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 14

As a non-American I can't see any reason to vote Trump, the corruption and shittery from him and his party is scary.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Fuck you, willfully ignorant shitheel.

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

I can’t understand how anyone looks at Trump‘s behaviour and mannerisms and goes: “yep, that’s my guy”.

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

He literally has accomplished way more in less than 4 years than obama and biden did in 8. But your mainstream media doesn't tell you that

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 19

Yes, because mainstream media doesn't focus on Trump supporters imagination

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Fuck you, liar.

5 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 4

Way more corruption and scandals? I agree.

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

sorry as an outsider (from the UK) isn't there lots of mainly Biden mail in votes and up to a month to count, check and verify the results ?

5 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 2

The problem is, Trump is trying to declare victory and saying all the uncounted votes don't count (except the ones for him, I guess).

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He even said that's what he would do, months ago. He also said if he didn't win, he'd have the Supreme Court step in.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes.

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Yes, but I don’t think it’s going to be enough. Hope I’m wrong. Biden is going to get NV. Must have PA and one other close state. NC GA MI

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

from what I've been told mail in/absentee ballots are counted last (told only 0-25% counted so far) and as democrats tend to take this >

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

pandemic seriously would have mostly voted by mail. so the results from tonight could change ?

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, I’m trying not to jinx it. Just checked and looks like WI is leaning Biden’s way......?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

How do you know they are “mainly Biden” if they haven’t been counted yet?

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Apparently Republicans are historically the ones that vote in person. Here's hoping mail-ins make a difference but it doesn't look good

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

My family and I, and many others in our little coal town in Pennsylvania all mailed in our votes...for Trump. Idk anyone who voted Biden.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

just that democrats have been encouraging mail in ballots and republicans trying to discredit them

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

This is all by design. They defunded public education, made it harder to vote, redrew electoral districts to favour one party over another

5 years ago | Likes 38 Dislikes 6

Same thing has happened here in Britain. Thats how we ended up with Boris Johnson as PM.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And so much more. This isn't surprising. It's a manifestation of the drive to authoritarianism

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

With presidential votes, you can't "redraw electoral districts".

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Two words: "Electoral College." If you can insure your candidate gets more votes in a certain district, you win that district and get ->

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

For some districts: Yes. For some states: No. I'm not defending the system (National Compact ftw!). But really, you need a STV/PR vote.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

its vote. Do it well enough to minimize your opponent's votes in as many districts as possible, you get more electoral votes.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

That’s not how the electoral college works. Results are reported by district, but a state’s electors are allocated based on the vote totals

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

of the entire state. Maine and Nebraska are exceptions and dole out electors proportionately.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But it has been gerrymandered since 1787....

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

You're in a bubble, especially on imgur. Biden was and is a terrible candidate and you should be angry with the DNC

5 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 4

That's like saying you don't want a splinter, so you volunteered for an amputation.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

He is not the most terrible though.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I don't even live in the country and watching the results is so bloody disheartening.

5 years ago | Likes 728 Dislikes 33

Keep in mind that mail-ins (and apparently early votes too) get counted late. We don't actually have the results yet

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

Same, I am gobsmacked at the numbers. After another 4 years of this, we can probably expect Trump 2024 v

5 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Putting a . Gonna recheck in 4 years cause there is a non-zero probability of it. Can just picture "King Trump" :/

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Have some faith my friend. I know the pain but don't let the cynicism turn into a manifestation.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Thank you for the genuine smile you provided. Cheers!

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

If you're disappointed now, Wait till you see our covid

5 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

oh no we know. we are watching. the world is watching.

5 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

It's almost like half of the Americans are racist, sexist, conspiracy nutcase, bigots... Agree really disheartening :\

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

The rest of the free world is going to have to add America to the list of countries with crowds of Fundamentalist hate fuelled nutters.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Dude, try living here. It's bloody bonkers. I. Don't. Get. It. Damn people

5 years ago | Likes 88 Dislikes 2

We are a country where the servers have to say "careful hot plate" when placing a sizzling skillet in front of you.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I really don't want to mate (the lack of healthcare would literally kill me). Plus it's hard enough watching it from the outside.

5 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 2

At this rate it will kill a lot of us. And its difficult watching it from within the inside. I'm legit feeling like vomiting right now.

5 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Yeah I probably should have given that joke a bit more thought. But honestly my heart breaks for you guys.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Nah. All good. I need the comedy to balance this shit.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Same...just woke up to find out it is a close race. And now the turd is giving a speech - I just can't listen

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I'm in Aus and they played it on the radio. Basically he repeated, "we have won, and it's by alot" radio cut him off after ~10min of that

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I did my part to try for change. My gf too.

5 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 1

Thank you @KujiiiraArt. :)

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

As did we. Many did. Disheartening to see its even this close if Biden manages a win. Worst if not.

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

That's all you can do eh; hopefully the uncounted mail in votes help turn a couple swing states blue.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I feel the mail in votes will be mainly Biden supporters given the coronavirus has kept (aware) people inside

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I had to take a pill.

5 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 13

You're not alone. This election does a lot for anxiety.

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

I have major panic episodes. Thanks for the downvotes.

5 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 5

I love you, friend. Having a nice middle of the night drink myself.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I also took a pill as well. Hugs

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

I hope you didn't put money on Biden, because the way the EC is looking ATM it's going to be 2016 version 2.

5 years ago | Likes 423 Dislikes 37

236/213 biden on the fence: WI, MI, PA, ME, NC, GA, NV

5 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

Most of them are way more red than blue atm

5 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

Mail in ballots not counted yet are expected to be overwhelmingly blue. Might not be enough, but then again it might. Too close rn to tell.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I bet my friend 10 bucks Trump would lose...come on mail in votes!

5 years ago | Likes 43 Dislikes 2

I have a feeling Trump will claim victory anyway before the mail in votes get counted and no one will effectively stop him.

5 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 1

Well you're at least half right.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

So far no one has (been able) to stop him although everyone knows he is a blatant criminal. What would change now?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well he claimed democrats are trying to steal a win so...

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

And he has a habit of accusing the other team of what he is doing. I bet a lot of dead people voted this year

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Someone released the army of the dead and we know it's not Aragorn

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

have you not heard? he said he's getting ready for a court case if they say he loses. already said he won. fml

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

And thank GOD for that

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 63

I see a piece of shit on the ground here. Why don't you go eat that?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Which one?

5 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Zeus, probably. Trump supporters have a thing for rapists.

5 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

I biden wins that states he is currently leading in he will win the election.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, unless PA and GA have some big surprises up their sleeves it's all over. Fucking Florida, you dumbass pieces of shit.

5 years ago | Likes 57 Dislikes 7

Don't blame Florida. Blame the 65+ million people that voted for Trump.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 6

There are some counties in PA that don’t start counting mail-ins until today. We’ll see what happens.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

AZ looks like it might flip blue. PA is lost to voter suppression, but WI and MI were projected blue. Those three are the hinge.

5 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 3

NC is shockingly close and hasn't counted mail yet.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Michigan is looking not so good. I'm really worried, and frankly pissed off, as a Michigander

5 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 2

You should have voted 300,000 more times.

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

Penn hasn't counted any of mail ballots. Which are heavy dem, its not over. Az wi and one of Georgia mi pa and biden wins.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Trump is going to win, which sucks

5 years ago | Likes 45 Dislikes 44

If he does. I think I may actually be one of those people that leaves. I'm thinking about Scotland. Would like to work on my patter

5 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 2

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

U got cash?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Not true, there is a lot of mail in votes that will need to be counted in the days to come.

5 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 2

If the associated press calls it (which looks like that’s going to be in the next 10 hours) then it looks like mail in WON’T be counted

He's going to try to stop mail coming in, but he can't stop mail that's already there.

If it comes to the mail in ballots it will go to SCOTUS, and seeing as it is now ultra conservative 99/100 says they side with Trump

Yes its 223 to 118. Currently, but the swing states need to be tallied yet, which could put it way closer than anyone would like.

5 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

And also, 223-145 (10:25mst) is just predicted. The electoral college hasn’t officially voted yet. Biden is still winning the popular vote /

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

But so did Clinton in 2016. It’s going to be a long week

5 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

With Penn and Tex leaning red, as well as half a dozen other states, yeah, it doesn't look good to me.

5 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

Biden needs PA, MI, and AZ to win enough electorates. Not going to happen.

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

Don't count GA out either, it's insanely close and a lot of the votes that still need counting are Fulton County, Atlanta. Pretty blue.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He's basically got AZ, and PA and MI still have a shit ton of (mostly democratic) mail in votes to tally. I'd give him better than even 1/2

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Odds of pulling all three. Especially since Philly and Pittsburg have the most outstanding votes to count in PA. PA & MI will swing left.2/2

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I hope you're right

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Fingers crossed... but FUCK it should NOT be this close.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I know what you meant, but I read “ass to mouth”. And it’s accurate. I’m sorry.

5 years ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 3

Wait. Me? Or the other guy? I’m trying.

5 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

WHAT ARE YOU SAYING I DON'T UNDERSTAND

5 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 2

ATM means "ass to mouth" in certain contexts, and that's how they read your use of ATM as.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I smell toast.

5 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

Jesus Christ this had me laughing.

5 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

What a mess. I am laugh-crying.

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Everyone listened to their own echo chamber and thought it would be a blowout. We need to come together and try to understand each other.

5 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 18

Take a step twoards me said the evil man, and took a step back.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I agree. People too often don't want to hear what they disagree with. They attack it and label it offensive, and then exclude it.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Wish this had more likes :/

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

So true. Imgur has been an anti-Trump echo chamber. Got on youtube and Trump is pouring on ads and SOUNDS. SO. REASONABLE. Blew me away.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 4

I don't want to understand these people. I am tired of pretending this is anything other than a battle between good and evil, and the more I

5 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 5

See of it, the more I feel like I have a moral obligation to eradicate evil rather than tolerate it.

5 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 2

Absolutely wrong. The right is the enemy. None of them want to understand anything that isn't their harmful rhetoric.

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 3

You are still mistakenly thinking this is merely a disagreement about the finer points of governance. That is part of the problem.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

It's not hard to understand the right, it's hard to believe they're this stupid and immoral.

5 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 2

No. You don't come together and try to understand people trying to kill you.

5 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 4

Who is trying to kill you, and how? Please answer rationally and in good faith. Thanks.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 6

Trump & supporters. Experts claim propagation of culture & behaviors that boosted spread of Covid.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This isn't a matter for civil discussion. This was a test of our character, and they chose evil.

5 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 2

Some issues it's nearly impossible to get any movement on either side about. One thinks abortion is murder. One things it's not. Science

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

makes no judgement calls about when life starts, so some *person* has to draw the line. Each side sees it in a different place.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

back from their own view and try to understand the other, much less try to compromise in a meaningful way. Very few have that fortitude.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Then you have things like racial issues. Things like entitlements (which historically *always* have issues with solvency). and so on.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yep. Its almost like there's 40 million dirt poor white people in this country that are getting tired of hearing about their privilege.

5 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 18

So you firebomb everything? And support someone who truly doesn't care? It would be Fascinating if it wasn't so sad.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

the thing is that they DO have privilege, and if they could suck it up and realize that, they could change everything for the better.

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

self sabotaging behaviors abound in most american subcultures. disenfranchisement of any of us hurts all of us.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 6

there is endless media coverage on minority disenfranchisement, but almost no coverage on how and why whites are also failing

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 5

and there is nothing inherently noble about equality. you having $100 and me having $50 is a much better than each of us having a dollar.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

I'm on the verge of vomiting. I have boiling lava curling around in my stomach and I feel like I am about to give a public speech.

5 years ago | Likes 1232 Dislikes 51

do it

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 19

Same. I'm just defeated. I can't believe people.

5 years ago | Likes 39 Dislikes 2

No matter who wins, the fact that the race was this close means that America failed a moral litmus test today.this makes me sad.

5 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 3

It just means a winner-takes-all partisan system isn't a good one for voting. A ranked system would be better.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Conservatives feel just as strongly as liberals and there are just as many of each willing to vote. In that way America is balanced.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I feel your pain, I thought we would've had much more of a headstart.

5 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

I am from Romania, currently living in Germany. The whole world is watching in distress. Please do the right thing America.

5 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

German here (by the way, be welcome, Romanian :) ). I second that, vote the Orange Dipshit out.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

and start pushing that we count every single ballot and don’t just stop prt way through.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Trump is worse than Biden but come on, this mindset is created by using places like Imgur as a news source. The FP here is like a left Fox.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

All sensationalist BS all the time. I've occasionally felt that way and it's usually because I'd spent too much time reading political

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

posts here instead of straight news from something like BBC or Reuters.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

He is just the mirror image of the average american. Lmao

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I cannot sleep

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I feel the same. I’m Australian.

5 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 4

Can I please move to your country? I need out of this shit storm.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Sure thing. Plenty of room.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Also an Australian...

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Me too ....but I have a lot of hope.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

All I know is that the polls are completely useless.

5 years ago | Likes 43 Dislikes 2

Far from it. When used right they create a false sense of security and fewer people vote.

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

For fucking real...”We changed our optics.”

5 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 1

"...by staring at the Sun for 7 hours" apparently.

5 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

You are dumb. Go take a walk

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

It's because the most popular "news" channel in the u.s. is Fox News which is just a republican propaganda show

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Take a step outside to breathe. Breathe in for four seconds through your nose, out for four seconds through your mouth

5 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 1

Thanks. This is a good reminder. It does work

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Shot of vodka. Breath. Shot of vodka. Breath. ?

5 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 2

Crap. Breathe I meant.

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I've smelled worse than vodka breath.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Mitch Mcconnell's formaldehyde coated breath comes to mind.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Can I have some of those delicious socialist tear when you erupt. Can't believe you guys almost ruined out country

5 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 60

Your country is already ruined. It is an appetite and a shell of what it once stood for

5 years ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 4

How have Socialists almost ruined your Country if you've never had anywhere near a Socialist leader?

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Lemme guess all the bad that has happened these past 4 years have been the evil Dems and Socialists fault?

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Its already ruined.

5 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 4

You're the laughing stock of the world, you've made an ignorant buffoon the face of your country for the last 4 years, you've ruined it.'

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

No tears. But just know, the day you die, even if its in 50 years, no one will miss you. You cunts may have won this one, 1/2

5 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 3

but your grandchildren will be ashamed of sharing DNA With you. 2/2

5 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 3

Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Detroit and Miami haven’t turned in all their votes yet for whatever reason. Relax.

5 years ago | Likes 104 Dislikes 0

Nearly each of these are voting for him

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I want to be optimistic but Miami is pretty red believe it or not. Still I pray

5 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Ya the Cuban community there leans pretty heavy Republican.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Florida is out of reach

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It’s not just that though. Speaking from an outsider’s perspective; It’s mind boggling that there’s THAT many people supporting him. In fact

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

It’s scary.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

From an insider-the-us perspective, it is also mind-boggling. I’ve had friends in Europe tell me all say it will be fine. They had faith in

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

in that we will do the right thing. Clearly that faith was vastly misplaced.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sadly wish I could. Even with them in, I dont know if the numbers are enough to swing it.

5 years ago | Likes 68 Dislikes 0

PA trump is ahead by around 500k. They haven't counted their nearly 2M mail ins. And those are predominantly dem.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Even if they do swing it I'm terrified he will find some way to steal it. We all know if Joe wins he will try and force himself in somehow

5 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

The US is full of decent, relatively intelligent and educated, quality people who dont agree with you.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 9

And by the way, Trump was elected in the first place specifically because of of that attitude right there....

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 9

If you voted for Trump, your aren't relatively intelligent, except when being compared to a boiled cabbage.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Thanks for proving my point about you. Again. Maybe one day you'll leave your little echo chamber and life wont be so hard for you

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 4

What the fuck are you talking about?

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

This may he hard to hear, but Trump was elected to treat the left's intellectual bullies the way they treat others.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 6

Well. If you are okay With racism etc. Because "the other side is Elitist!" You are in no Wayne, shape or form decent. Racism and anti 1/2

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

Hes not racist. A small portion of his followers are, but all in all hes just a loud mouth. That wont stop the lowest common denominator 1/2

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 7

democracy-rhetoric is not just a different opinion. *way not Wayne. 2/2
