Local Barred Owl

This one has been frequenting my area for years.

It may be the same one, or a descendent, but they can live up to 10 years.

It stayed there, watching the critters at the bird feeder, until it was dark and the snow was heavier.

The next day, it decided on a more direct approach!

Every time I took a picture, it would look back at me. I was only about 10 feet away from it at this point.

Since then, it has come around pretty frequently as usual. Just have to keep my eyes on the trees.
