Anxious doggo lost too much weight

Went on a trip for 10 days and came home to skin and bones doggo. Sweet neighbor was taking care of her while I was gone and told me she wouldn’t eat while I was gone.

She seems to be getting her appetite back but not sure how to prevent this from happening in the future — I normally take her with me but sometimes it’s unavoidable.

Gosh I love her. I feel so bad she was suffering while I was away.
