A good cop enforces the law against other cops.

If they know about other cops breaking the law and don't turn them in or protect them by lying then they aren't good cops. That includes most cops.

Integrity. You're talking about integrity. Cops aren't the only ones that should have it. Everyone should. Welcome to life.

According to the DOJ, most cops have seen another officer break the law and done nothing.

I think that it is best to refrigerate the rice a day before you're planning on making fried rice.

I normally try to avoid controversy but I just had to get in the mix.

I think that when a couple goes out to eat, they should not sit on the same side of the booth

If it's in the first two to three months of a relationship I think it's acceptable.

When people know other people are criminals, and committing crimes, and don't turn them in, that makes them part of the problem in general.

So anyone who sees someone smoke pot and doesn't turn them in is part of the problem? Anyone who helped an escaped slave was a problem?

Also, no one alive in this country today has seen slavery, so let's not push that fossil of an argument.

Bullshit. There is still slavery, just not legal slavery for non-convicts.

When you're convicted of a felony, and jailed, your rights are gone. That point is moot at best.

That's not true, you don't lose all your rights. Which is beside the point. Whether you deserve it or not doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

I dunno, did a police officer see that sort of "crime" happen and turn the other way? Why is he obligated to be 100% honest all the time?

A cop swears an oath to uphold the law, citizens do not.

Sure, but when you know your brother is dealing crack out of your house, or your neighbor is robbing old ladies, and you don't snitch, 1/2

you're part of the problem. You're allowing that to continue. You are placing the weight of obligation on one particular person. Unfair.
