didn't know movies had "ultimate" editions, extended cuts and such yeah, but ultimate so far i only saw for games :o also hella nice find! wish we got a damn Stargate game or new show but they always cancel everything that we could get -.-

Some of the helmets were actually real/mechanical. The first ones you see, for example. They put a flex sensors (really just resistors that change based on bending) on the inside of the actor's elbow so when they bend their arm it rotates the direction the 'head" looks.

Great movie! I heard they made some kind of series as a spinoff but i never saw it. The movie was the peak, that was clear from the start. :)

Yeah the series is pretty great it’s called Stargate SG-1 you can actually watch it for free on Netflix it continues if i remember correctly after the events of the movie

I dont want to say it was the first because I think it was actually either alien or a predator movie was first, however this was like the third or fourth we watched on the new family DVD player. Good times.

HOLY FUCK I just found out Kevin Nash actually got fucking stabbed in that scene and didn't break character! This is some Viggo's Toe level shit! And Tom Jane got a concussion when he was thrown through a wall. Tom Jane lowkey is a really good actor.
