Molds are working, so I can start making more of these beauties. One on the right was the first attempt, salvaging as many "okay" miscast pieces as I could. Turned it into a raider one, posted it yesterday and it was not well received.
On the left is the one I managed to cast tonight after a lot of swearing at the mold, trying to work out where it's going wrong. Much slicing at RTV silicone later and it's all fine and dandy.
Amazingly, even the peculiar overhang of the cables at the rear cast right!
So in short, I've been sculpting this model for a while in 28mm scale and over the past week, finally finished it, made a mold of the parts of the figure and can now cast as many as I like in resin. c:
