I love local dyers. I spin most of my yarns on my Woolee Ann a fancy electric wheel. I can spin a skein super fast and love it so much. It's locally made too! I spin yarn to calm me down to it's been getting a lot of use. I have another four I finished recently. It's really all about muscle memory and lush fibers at this point.

Your consistency is fabulous! Any reason you prefer two ply over three or four? I really like Navajo ply myself.

I don't like chain plying, and at the speed I go at it's nigh impossible. I just love the barber pole look, and I usually ball ply.

I've alway know "spinning a yarn" as telling a story. What exactly do you do to spin yarn?
