Canada's Olympic hockey player, Jocelyne Larocque took off her silver medal immediately after receiving it. I'm really torn at her behavior. I completely understand the frustration of not getting gold, losing to the Americans in a shoot out, 3-2. I have been an athlete on the national level so I have some sense of the commitment it takes to get to the top, along with the frustration of losing the national title. These folks are way above my level but the sufferage isn't any different, just the speed, strength or accuracy. I truly have mixed emotions on this and thought I would reach out to the folks of Imgur to see what the global thoughts were. Thanks for input.

American here, Minnesotan specifically... I don’t believe that Olympic Hockey should be able to end on a shoot out... Id be pissed, too.

Shootouts shouldn’t exist in the Olympics. It was bad for her to do that but it was 20 years since they beat us and in a shootout is shitty>

Either way it was a great game and the Americans are full value for the win - they carried the play for most of the game
