Had a biochem prof that I left every class with hand cramps and worked in a team with 2 other students to make sure we got everything. She was the absolute best in the department, though.
Physics in engineering college… Room is around 50’ per side with whiteboards all around. Instructor starts a problem… works his way across the front wall, then continues all the way around the the room. When he gets back to the front he starts erasing that panel and continues. Problem didn’t end until two more wall were repeated.
We don’t learn anything except how to write quickly while being unable to listen & understand the work.
Sounds like a typical Chem 122 prof. By far the worst chem class I've ever experienced. Organic was a walk in the park compared to the antagonistic teaching style of that course. At least in my experience.

Kids can just record the whole lesson and rewatch it these days.

We had a Chem Professor like this and he got removed, when asked to explain something he would say "check your notes".

We always had some note wizard who'd make their notes available, sometimes for free.

Had a math teacher that damn near held the crayon in one hand and followed with the eraser in the other. Funnily enough his name was Dick.
