It won’t work, he didn’t thank them for their attention to this matter.

I'm not sure why, but I hear this as a wrestling announcer hamming it up for the audience on this one.

Hold on. We have seen nukes dropped on 2 cities filled with civilians.... That's an insane threat to make over mines only disrupting rich.... oh, it's rich people, so that tracks with his priorities... fucking hate rich people.... they seriously need to all be eaten....

They want Iran to deploy ships for them to sink. Without a doubt after reading this post I am certain we are mining the area. It’s like I’ve learned a second language being gaslit by this dusty old fuck.

It actually helps rich Texas oil barons. They get to pump as much oil as they want, and the price remains high.

The mines are not only disrupting the rich. This war is bullshit and Trump should have never started it, but blocking the straight is having a direct impact on all of us. It's the reason your paying more for gas and it will soon be the reason your paying more for food and everything else.

That's not a condemnation of Iran BTW. I understand they're trying to defend themselves. But don't pretend their actions don't effect you just because you don't support the war against them.

Gas costs are entirely speculative and rarely have anything to do with real current supply. We also get a majority of our oil from internal sources, with Canada being the largest foreign supplier followed by Mexico and Brazil. We get roughly ~10% of our oil from the middle east. Add to that theres roughly 1 month lag time on oil from there and you get a BS pricing scam that follows 0 real world supply markers.

Gas prices are not based on any real current indicators. They are entirely guesses.

Being speculative is irrelevant. The price at the pump still costs you money. The speculative fear is based on Iran closing and possibly mining a core trade corridor, which is a real thing happening today.

It's also irrelevant how much of your oil is bought from the middle east because the oil supply is global

The people the middle east were selling to are going to search for oil in the places you buy from and that drives up the price.

The speculative prices have rarely provided an accurate forecast for the actual cost for a barrel, and the accuracy of the speculation has been dubious at best. Basing gas costs on that speculation has been a scam running for decades that has used random global events that rarely have a long enough impact to affect oil prices to have exorbitant influence over gas prices.

Another irrelevant point.

The reality is oil and gas prices would not be going up like they are without the war AND those prices WILL effect normal people not just rich people.

That's not speculations, that's the true reality of what is happening today.
