Advent of Cheese- Day 15

It’s Day 15 of Advent which means I’m up to a fortnight of cheese. The Advent of Cheese Calendar was purchased at my local grocery store here in SE Michigan.

Fifth row getting finished off. Incidentally I haven’t seen the Ghost Pepper cheddar since day 2.

Hurrah, it’s the Pesto Jack! Since it’s the third, and final, sample of the Pesto Jack (sounds like an ace pirate name) I was supposed to have the cheese with summer sausage and crackers. However, my wife and kids (16 years and 20 years) wanted to have some since I was raving about how good it was. By the time those rats were done, there wasn’t enough cheese to put on a cracker. So I had it as the Good Lord intended- neat with a shot of Jameson as a chaser. I’m going to have to find me a block of a pesto cheese for the Xmas lunch. The flavor was just that good.
