So this is an excerpt from a web-available graphic novel by Warren Ellis and Paul Duffield about a group of .. extra-humans. The whole thing is online and free, the story and artwork are excellent and I wanted to introduce it to any of my fellow imgurians who have not yet gotten a chance to fall in love with it.
