As a recent college grad, I am experiencing this way too often among my peer group
Short rant, suck my balls.
Many of my peers have begun complaining about the difficulties of finding a job after graduation. Yeah, it's hard, but maybe you should have began hunting earlier or GONE TO A DADGUM JOB FAIR YA DILDOS!! Jesus Henry Christ on a velociraptor you had a million^2 opportunities to have your resume editted, your skills marketed, self promotion, and a hundred other things because YOU GO TO A FUGGIN TIER ONE UNIVERSITY. It's almost impossible to graduate without being invited to shadow someone in your desired career field! It's not like you didn't think you were gonna graduate on time! To all you 14 year olds (that I know are lurking for the occasional booby because you're afraid to type in "naked ladies" into the google cause Mama uses that computer for her home projects for her garden club that take her mind off what a disappointment you are and constantly make her wonder what her life would be like if she'd swallowed you in that truck stop bathroom in Tuscaloosa instead), go to job fairs, market yourself early on, and don't be afraid to branch out to areas that may not directly use your area of study. Welcome to 2016, everything is a fustercluck and you're more than likely not going to get a job that directly employs your major.
TL;DR: OP is super frustrated that lazy friends complain about no jobs when they put out no effort.
Hey ya'll got any cool firearm or motorcycle builds? I like guns and bikes.

The number of disappointments spawned in Tuscaloosa truck stops is astounding. By the way War Eagle @op

"more than likely not going to get a job that directly employs your major" Perhaps major in something relevant?

I graduated 4 years ago and I'm still looking for a job in my field. Buckle up!

That and a realistic evaluation of marketability of degree long before graduation.

You will always be busy. That's life. Never trick yourself into thinking you are too busy to take a once in a lifetime opportunity.

First of all it wasn't a truckstop; it was a Waffle House. Second of all I am here for dicks AND boobies AND MLP. You cisgen bastard!

I have a lot of questions about everything you just said...

Some jobs require a degree to be received before any application process may start like law enforcement or government agencies.

This right here. You can't put the degree on your resume until you've actually earned it. It'll get tossed in the trash otherwise.

What was I doing before graduating? Trying to graduate. Maybe I'm in your peer group.
