Best computer advice I've ever received? Ditch the ink jet and get a b&w laser printer.

Every single printer in existence, ever, is possessed by malevolent demons. It's part of the assembly process of them.

I've never seen a tequila bottle cap that looks like a little hat.

3 weeks ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

Only the cheapest tequila has the little hat I think

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That looks like some shit they do to entice people from north of the border

3 weeks ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

That would 100% work on me, I know of multiple kitties that need hats.

When Sierra tequila launched in 1981, the sombrero cap became its signature packaging. The bottles still have the sombrero although its plastic not metal like the original.

What is it about printers that are universally awful to work on? Is it some ancient legacy code baked into every printer incase someone wants to print using windows 98 or something?

3 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

No one expects a printer to work right when you need it, so the companies don't bother improving the software that may have once been stable on Windows 8.0 or whatever

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I think it was one of the first items made to fail and to be replaced. It is almost impossible to repair without being trained.

3 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

DO NOT BUY HP PRINTERS! Fuckers demand you only use their $70 ink!

3 weeks ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Buy a laser jet (I have never had an issue with my Brother) - toner doesn't "dry out" like ink jets do, so no clogs, no having to replace cartridges every 3 months.

3 weeks ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Buy an ink tank printer instead of an ink cardridge printer. You can use any ink you like in those, and they're vastly cheaper to operate overall.

3 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

We bought an ink tank because we don't print a ton after having to buy new cartridges for our HP every time... ink tanks are fucking hot.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Unless it's an HP ink tank, I'm guessing.

"THE ELDERS OF THE INTERNET KNOW WHO I AM?!"

3 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

WHAT IS JEN DOING WITH THE INTERNET?!

3 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Whoa that looks heavy!

3 weeks ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Thats why i prefer the innernette, just one small disk, much more convenient.

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The Internet doesn't weigh anything, Jen!

3 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I recognize that thing with no idea the source of it.

3 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Source is an episode of "The IT Crowd", a British sitcom

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Another comment gave the name. I'll give this : it has aged, but 90% of it is still prettt damn good.

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Not the internet!, it is too much responsibility!

#4 I love this scene from "The Pianist". For those who haven't seen it, the pianist (Adrian Brody) has taken the trenchcoat off a dead German. Some Polish soldiers see him in the house, so he comes out saying, "Don't shoot. I'm Polish". Then the Polish guys ask, "Then why are you wearing that fucking coat?" and he says, "Because it's cold".

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The German gave him the jacket as they were retreating.

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Did he? It's been so long since I've seen it, and it was so brutal, I figured that was a good guess. Sometimes I still see that dead body kneeling in the street, balanced upright, in my mind's eye.

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Time to rewatch I think. I sure it was the officer as he was concerned about the welfare of the pianist.

Makes sense.
