Existing Conditions - Multiple Compromises

There's been a lot of debate and contention on the subject of health insurance companies covering patients with existing conditions like heart disease and cancer.

Republican say it will drain the monetary resources of health insurance companies while Democrats say that it's unfair and unjust for health insurance companies who have a plethoric amount of money to do this.

Both arguments have their merit but ultimately, compromises will be made. Here are my ideas for compromise, from worst to best.

1. Allow construction of plans to workaround existing conditions: Under current law people are not allowed to have these types of tailored plans, let's allow this compromise for people who don't have life threatening existing conditions.

2. Scientifically designed and supported biophysical result diet to eliminate existing condition: Those seeking coverage with an existing condition would be given the option of having coverage of it after participating in a scientifically structured diet change custom created by people like Professor Emeritus of Campbell Dr. Campbell, Masters Degree in Biophysics holder Dr. Michael Greger, and the clinically successful Dr. John McDougall, who has reversed more than 90% of his patients (Tens of thousands of people in his Santa Rosa clinic) diseases with a starch-based diet. This would, at the very least, curb the symptoms and source of the disease and at the very best, heal the entire body. I'm talking complete myocardial reperfusion if you know what I mean. After the diet, insurance companies must accept them and cover their existing condition.

3. Government run non-profit health care company that operates on a national level to provide the best prices and work like an actual company, where Congress is the board of directors. It would require little funding to kickstart and could easily compete with private companies. Allowing HC companies to compete across state lines after safety and ethical regulation could also mean lower prices than the non-profit one but I doubt it. Either way, the non-profit HC company could afford to cover existing conditions this way.
