This joke really got away from me

Should be noted that the TV show, released almost at the same time as the games delved deeply into the relationship between poke and trainer

I was just wondering something similar recently. My 5 yr old is really into Pokemon right now and all I can think is how sad it is...

Question. Why is it sad?

They have these little cute creatures fighting each other for no reason.

I would assume someone already addressed this- But they aren't for fighting. It's to create bonds through challenges.

Pokemon, the cartoon at least, deeply explores the motivations of pokemon and the bonds they share with their trainers...not sad at all.

I don't watch it but I catch bits of it as he watches it. I just see little creatures being made to fight for no reason.

Kind of like saying, I haven't watched Saving Private Ryan but it just looks like dudes shooting at each other for no reason.

Something like that.

Just a tip, watch what your kids are watching. You'll get to know them better.
