I agree, a lot is. BUT...there are great places. I know it sounds weird but Diners Drive Ins and Dives usually has quality food represented.

Good example is in Nashville TN..Phat Bites...AMAZING food for carnivore/veggie/vegan alike. I'm a carnivore and I always get the Hummus.

2. Also, my fiancee lives in Wales, from Bristol, and other than pub food, she rarely eats "British" food. Usually chinese, Indian, etc.

i'm a chef so I eat literally anything from anywhere, i'm pointing out pub food is actually quite nice.

Agree =) Varies, obv, but most places I went had AMAZING food in pubs. Perfect for drinking, rich, filling, bit spendy but, good quality.

Bar food over here is disgusting 99% of the time.
