This is "it's relatable", because the internet is something we all have access to, and it's addictive; we get that little tiny burst of dopamine every time we click or scroll to reveal a new page. His story is a lot like a story I tell about how I started playing WoW, decided it was time to wrap up because it was 8pm and I had work the next morning, somehow only managed to turn the game off by 4am, and realized *I hadn't even had fun*.
Just, "relatable" humor. Eh
