I don't even like the community enough to stay to be fair. nad the website for mobile is an absolute dog shit. imgur can suck my shit covered dick before I install their spyware app.
I've never used Imgur in mobile browser and hardly ever in desktop browser. The mobile app is fine, the user experience is damaged by perverted users, not tech issues.
Mobile apps run with higher privilege on your device and can harvest a crap ton of info, run tasks in the background, etc. I avoid them at all cost. (source: was a developer for 20 years)

it kinda sucks how bad imgur's mobile web site is, and that new unskippable popup is pure evil.

Fuck all apps about now.

They want your tracking data. You can block said tracking data from being collected with the DuckDuckGo browser.

Thanks. I was wondering if I was the only one. Well, less “doom scrolling” for me then. Quite a pity as I like the community.

I started using the "Desktop site" option in my mobile browser. I breaks the layout a bit, but it beats having to download their shitty app.

Well, my GPS is never on, and I didn't allow the app anything it asked for. It draines the battery though, that's true.
