#46 neat thing about this: you can still have a favorite person without being their (or anyone's) favorite person, and tbh that's fine. I imagine it must be how it feels for those people that post memes about going to the gas station for a little treat, I can't relate with going out like that, but it's satisfying to get time with your favorite person. And I try to make sure they don't feel guilty for not reciprocating, I'm thankful they're making the effort, and try to make them comfortable.

a diagnosis is a label that you can control kiddo, pick your battles. illness can define who you are and what you're capable of but at the end of the day it's not all you are. if your ppl can't see that, get new ppl. to quote a good movie; "are you your arm or your leg? if you lost all your limbs you'd still be you."

Most labels do not come from doctors. My psychiatrist was always hesitant to hand them out so willy-nilly.
