If you notice mosquito larvae becoming a problem in you water barrels, feeder goldfish love them and will provide fertilizer in the water.

Just spit-balled the angle, and pointed them south. They have no trouble charging two RV batteries on reasonably sunny days.

We mostly over-winter fragile plants and grow our starts for the spring. We want to get more into year-round greens.

if so, @OP should add a fishtank and go with aquaponics, save on fertilizer and grow edible fish at the same time! Tilapia is an easy fish.

You’re likely referring to the overflow bypass coming from the top of the barrels? When they get full, those pipes spill to a rain garden.

I was referring to all the pipes in the area to the front of the greenhouse. Doesn't really look like a rain garden to me.

Oh. Those are structural support for tomato plants! Sturdier and work better than flimsy cages.
