No, we are in western Pennsylvania. Simi was adopted from a shelter on the French side of Saint Martin (our friend Ursula runs it from her home).
He was named after a French bartender on the island (Simi) as well as after the Simpson Bay on the Dutch side of the island. When he isn’t listening I call him Simpson and he knows things have gotten real.
