How is this still a thing?

Turns out we never got rid of these assholes, they just went underground and then rebranded like cowards. They have become too comfortable and revealed themselves again. This is our chance to cut them out. Intolerance in not a culture and all of us are learning this in various ways, they are no different especially bc a “culture” built on intolerance is not accepted in this modern society. We had a whole would war about it, that was decided. We don’t let cannibals practice their various cultural traditions no matter how long it has been established. Racism from anyone is no longer tolerated, ethnocentrism is no longer needed or valued in a society striding towards equality. We cannot pick and choose the parts of equality that we like better either, our Trans friends are under attack and that is just what is horribly seen as an “acceptable start.” No one will be safe to be themselves if we allow powerful, greedy, racist, sexist, lack of basic human decency types to keep growing their tyrannical rule. Religion is supposed to be separate from issues of the state. Keep it to yourselves or face push back, boycotts, and loss of interest from the youth. Your beliefs will no longer be tolerated as explanations for your desire for control and for your greed. That is called spiritual bypassing and we no longer fall for it or feel guilty about going to your hell. Fuck that noise. Much like ethnocentrism, ancient religious decrees are rapidly no longer relevant in modern society. The younger generations do not need or want it.

We will have to weed bigots out bc they have been rooted for far too long, maybe forever. Time for othering and all of the “isms” to go. We are all the same, we deserve the same chances in life. People with too much money are not gods, they are personified greed. If you have enough, give back when you can. Let’s organize here, to fight for good. This summer can be the start of something better, let’s take to the streets!
