"This isn't like the barking snakes! They're not just going to show up in a salad at Olive Garden!"
ToastyPieceOfBananaBread
"Hey look, the airs on fire."
redstarsuperunicornmonkey
Cool, I just planted a Feminized, Auto-flowering variety of Kush. Wonder what kinds they have in there?
SWReefer
You posted the wrong picture. There are supposed to be used condoms on the wall with pictures of the donors.
BenderBenderBender
What's your business poky-pokin' about da seed vault, eh, guardian of mankind's precious botanical heritage dere?
RydiaX
Yeah, why have a bunker like that if it isn't even a water tight seal. What kind of apocalyptic shelter you trying to run?
greenmenfrommars
Water coming into the entrance passageway isn't actually the issue, just a symptom of the bigger problem, that it may no longer stay at 1/2
greenmenfrommars
the required temperature without human intervention, as it was originally designed. The vault itself is sealed against flooding. 2/2

summitshow
OPs mom is bigger than that
alchemist23
Yes, it's funny, but we should be concerned if "permafrost" is no longer "perma"
nabacular
Send it to space
Horstdorsch
Plants and seeds can survive space for short time (google moon trees) but they are supposed to be stored longer and they should be recoverd
TheMajesticHarpyEagle
Oh yeah, its gunna flip a switch that we have no way of flipping back. Millions of tons of methane and carbon getting freed.
rabastan
Also old illness. Already claimed a few in Siberia
Diddykongkey
Just light a match. Do I really have to solve everything for everyone?
IRatetits
While that wouldn't help, I would love to see that explosion
Randomman96
You know things are bad when a doomsday bunker and backup for crops designed in part of this very situation can't handle the change.
TheMajesticHarpyEagle
Ja. We fucking ourselves over hard.
Randomman96
We're not only fucking ourselves over, we are now fucking over our only backup plan in the event we fucked ourselves too much.
TheMajesticHarpyEagle
Ja
RydiaX
Why build a bunker surrounded by frozen water and not be water proof... It's for a calamitous event. Except the most obvious one? Nice
Naitasm
It IS waterproof. It didn't reach the seeds, just some airlock doors. There are half a dozen of them; articles imply water only got past 1.
lysani
They may imply that when you read them, but the article titles are all panic and exaggeration.
